The Guilford County Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Division contributed $450.00 to help victims that still needed some assistance to recover from the devastating tornado that struck Guilford County in April 2018.  This donation came strictly from Public Health staff.

Eighteen $25.00 Walmart gift cards were purchased and presented to Rev. Dr. Cardes Brown, Jr., Senior Pastor of New Light Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 12th by Merle Green, Health Director on behalf of Public Health staff.

Thank you to all in Public Health who contributed to this worthwhile effort to help continue community recovery from this devastating tornado.
