Join Guilford County for Operation Green Light during the week of Nov. 4–11 and show support of our military veterans.

This coming Veterans Day week, help Guilford Glow Green by lighting your building, business, or home entryway in green to show veterans and their families that they are seen, appreciated, and supported by our community.

Guilford County is home to more than 29,000 Veterans and nationally, around 250,000 members transition out of the armed services each year.

Operation Green Light for Veterans is a national event intended to raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by many veterans and their families, and to show veterans of all military conflicts how much Guilford County appreciates their service.

On October 17, 2024, the Guilford County Board of Commissioners resolved to support Operation Green Light throughout the community from November 4-11, 2024.

Join #OperationGreenLight for Veterans and help shine a light to support and welcome our veterans home.

Operation Green Light for Veterans. November 4-11, 2024. Shine a light of hope and support for Veterans. Guilford County Courthouse front lit with green lights.
