Guilford County Child Support Enforcement is a part of a larger state, national and even international body with a common purpose, a vision of “Economic Self-Sufficiency for Single Parent Families”. Locally our Mission is “To assure that Guilford County children in single-parent households are supported by their non-custodial parents”.

Child Support Enforcement provides the following services: Location of non-custodial parents, establishment of paternity and support orders (including provisions for medical support), collection and distribution of child support payments and enforcement of court orders (including periodic reviews for possible modifications).

We welcome you to this website, which provides access to information about the Child Support program and its policies as well as specific case information for our customers. You can assist us in locating non-custodial parents who are listed in our Most Wanted Poster for non-payment of their Child Support by providing information to our customer service number: 336-641-4227. Our court calendar is available for attorneys and other interested persons and employers will find access to North Carolina’s Centralized Collections.

We are committed to “Making a Difference in the Lives of the Children we Serve”.
