The District 1 Sheriff's Office is located at 7504 Summerfield Rd, Summerfield, NC. The District is bounded by Rockingham County on the north, east along US 29 South, west along Forsyth County and south along the Greensboro City Limits.

District 1 is staffed by a Captain, Lieutenant, 5 Sergeants, 4 detectives, 19 patrol deputies, 1 canine handler and an Office Manager. District 1 services the incorporated towns of Oak Ridge, Summerfield, Stokesdale and the unincorporated areas of Colfax, Brown Summit and those neighborhoods outside the city limits of Greensboro within our District boundaries.

The primary function of District 1 is uniformed patrol and the criminal investigations of crimes related to assaults, burglary, theft, fraud, forgery, vehicle theft, possession or receiving stolen property and juvenile criminal offenses.
