If you need to contact Animal Control, you can reach them at 336.641.5990 Monday through Saturday 8-5. Any time outside of these hours please call Guilford Metro at 336.373.2222 press option 3 for Metro for non-emergencies or, if it is an emergency, please call 911.

We are open by appointment only for owner surrenders.

You do not need an appointment to reclaim a lost pet, surrender a stray pet, or to drop off donations.

Reclaim A Pet

If your pet is lost or you think your pet has been taken to the Shelter please email intake at gcas_intake@guilfordcountync.gov

Surrender A Pet

If you found a stray animal, you do not need an appointment to bring the pet into the shelter. If you need to surrender an owned animal or have questions, please contact our intake department at gcas_intake@guilfordcountync.gov.
