Tip of the Week - Keep Moving

With the colder months comes longer, darker nights which ultimately can drain energy and motivation rather quickly. This is even more true with those struggling with mental health issues. Seasonal depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc., are all things that can not only be hindering, but paralyzing.

Movement has been shown to have a direct positive impact on mental health. Although challenging, the best cure for the inability to move is to just get it done. It is important to remember that movement and exercise are not one-size-fits-all . Whether it be yoga, boxing, or simply walking, find something that works for you and remain consistent!
