Notice of Employment - Part Time Firefighter/Driver

Julian Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department is accepting applications for part-time paid firefighter/drivers. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• At least 18 years of age
• High School graduate or GED certificate
• N.C. Firefighter I and II certification
• N.C. Emergency Medical Technician certification
• N.C. Emergency Vehicle Driver certification
• N.C. Haz-Mat Level I certification
• A valid N.C. Class B Driver’s License with a good driving record 

Application Information: 

Part-time 12 hour shifts Sunday evenings through Friday evenings & 9 hour shifts every day. 

Projected Hire Date: Immediate openings until positions are filled. 

Application Packets will be available at Station 36:  4317 Folger Rd. Julian, NC 27283 

Completed application packets are to be dropped off at Station 36. 

Qualified applicants will be contacted to schedule interview. 

Applicants must pass a general knowledge pump operator test. 

Starting Salary $11.00 to $12.50 per hour depending on certifications. 

Positions will remain open until filled.
