Tax Director Ben Chavis, Jim Roland, Assistant Tax Collector and Elliott Thompson, Administrative Services Supervisor, were invited by Farragut Systems to attend a luncheon/meeting Friday July 20, 2018.  The purpose of the meeting was to celebrate the Collections Division’s success in achieving a collection goal of 99.21% for fiscal year 2017-2018 as well as the partnership between Farragut Systems and the Guilford County Tax Department.  Ben accepted the award on behalf of all of the employees throughout the Tax Department who work very hard every day.  Their contribution to our success in obtaining a high collection rate reflects the superb quality of work and commitment that we should all be proud of.
