October is domestic violence awareness month. Many departments are engaged in programming and events focused on bringing awareness to issues of violence and abuse.  Guilford County is partnering with lots of agencies across county to launch a new awareness campaign titled Abuse Is Never Okay. The aims of the campaign are to provide information about different types of interpersonal violence, provide resources for building healthy relationships and families, and educate the community about how to get help if people have been impacted by abuse.
