For many dogs, life in the shelter can be scary or confusing.  Now is the perfect opportunity to help homeless animals, across America, find happy loving homes.  How can you help?  By adopting a shelter dog! 

We understand that not everyone can adopt a dog this month, so if you can’t adopt, there are still many ways to help!  Spread the word and share the photos on social media using #AdoptAShelterDogMonth and #GCASfurreedom.  Volunteer at your local shelter.  Dogs loved being walked and played with, and socialization increases their chance at being adopted!  You can access Guilford County Animal Services volunteer application here.
